Tap-to-Sign via NFC
Coldcard Q supports Tap-to-Sign through a dedicated secure NFC antenna. Private data stays inside the wallet, while only the already signed transaction is transmitted outside the device.
QR scanner for air-gapped signing
The built-in QR scanner with LED illumination lets you sign transactions offline, without a cable or a direct connection between Coldcard Q and a computer or smartphone. Private data remains inside the device, while information is exchanged through QR codes.

Dice Roll feature
Coldcard Q lets you create a BIP-39 seed phrase not only with its built-in random number generator, but also by using rolls of a regular dice. You enter the roll results, and the device generates a valid seed phrase.
This option is designed for users who want greater control over the wallet creation process and prefer to add their own entropy when generating a seed phrase.
