CryptoTag Zeus is a mnemonic backup tablet for crypto wallet seed phrases. It allows you to store your recovery phrase on titanium plates instead of paper or in digital form, protecting it from fire, water, and corrosion.
The Zeus Starter Kit is designed to store 24 words or two 12-word seed phrases.
The Zeus Expansion Kit adds space for an additional 24 words.
CryptoTag Zeus is compatible with any wallet that uses standard BIP39 seed phrases: Ledger, Trezor, SafePal, Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and others.
1. Write down your recovery words on the included sheet.
2. Find the corresponding numbers in the BIP39 word list.
3. Record the numbers on the sheet provided with the device.
4. Stamp the numbers onto the CryptoTag Zeus plate.

Yes, CryptoTag Zeus uses the BIP39 standard, just like your crypto wallet. Instead of BIP39 words, it uses BIP39 numbers.
Why?
Numbers are easier to store on titanium than long words.
NOTE: The order of words and their corresponding numbers cannot be changed. It is a fixed standard, so there is no need to worry about this.
BIP39 is an open source industry standard used by cryptocurrency wallets. It is an alphabetical list of 2,048 words. The first word “Abandon” is the number “0001”. The last word of “Zoo” is the number “2048”. Every word in between has its own corresponding number. You can check out the list here.
The BIP39 word list can be found on GitHub and other sources online. Once you have the BIP39 list, simply match your stored numbers to their corresponding words. This process takes no more than 5 minutes.
One of the main disadvantages of paper is its low durability. Ink may burn out, paper may burn or dissolve in water if flooded. Thanks to the high-quality materials used in CryptoTag Zeus, you can be confident that your keys or mnemonic phrase remain fully protected.
If your CryptoTag Zeus is lost or stolen, IMMEDIATELY move all your funds to a new address that uses a completely different seed phrase or private key. We also recommend using a passphrase (sometimes called the “25th word”) so that if someone discovers your tablet, there is still some protection.
Unfortunately this is not possible. CryptoTag Zeus is designed to complement your hardware wallet. This tablet will allow you to securely store your mnemonic phrase and protect it from external physical influences.
