SafePal Cypher is not tied to a specific wallet brand. It is compatible with cryptocurrency wallets that use a standard BIP39 seed phrase.
Yes. The SafePal Cypher design allows you to store one 24-word seed phrase or two 12-word seed phrases. This is convenient if you use multiple wallets.

After you have received a 12 or 24 word recovery phrase (also known as a mnemonic phrase), you need to insert 4 letters of each word into the corresponding slots on the tablet, each slot is numbered to match the word number in your mnemonic phrase.
There is no need to worry!
You can safely store your recovery phrase in SafePal Cypher. The principle of the recovery phrase is as follows, you only need the first 4 letters of each word in the phrase. For example, if your phrase contains the following words:

Most hardware wallets have an advanced asset recovery system. For example, Trezor or Ledger.
If you ever need to restore your assets on Trezor, Ledger, or similar devices, you can simply enter the first four characters, and the wallet will pick up the rest of the word automatically.
If you are using software wallets without advanced recovery mode like MetaMask, you can use the BIP39 word library

Unfortunately this is not possible. SafePal Cypher is designed to complement your hardware device. This tablet will allow you to securely store your mnemonic phrase and protect it from external physical influences.

Планшет получил на следующий день в Новой почте. Небольшая коробочка черного цвета, приятная на ощупь, внутри – собственно планшет, стальной, тяжеленький (~ 210 г) + 2 запасных винтика + 2 шестигранных торцевых микроключика + 4 пластинки с буквами латинского алфавита (по 72 буквы на каждой пластинке). Количество разных букв – различное, причем 3 буквы взаимозаменяемые, в зависимости от положения в планшете (b=q, d=p, n=u) + 2 наклейки безопасности. Пластинки с одной стороны покрыты пленкой для удобства работы с буквами. Снять крепежные винтики, заполнить 24 ячейки по 4 буквы и снова зафиксировать их в планшете не торопясь занимает менее часа. Покупкой доволен – хорошая игрушка. В плане безопасности пароля мне кажется более надежным более дорогой Cryptosteel Сapsule Solo. Заполучив последний, злоумышленник вынужден будет потратить определенное время на воспроизведение seed-фразы, тогда как открыв SafePal Cypher эту фразу можно просто сфотографировать.
