SafePal App is an open-source app that lets you manage your Safepal X1 wallet: view your portfolio, prepare transfers, swaps, and staking transactions. It also provides access to DeFi and DApp services, so you can connect to Web3 directly from the app. Importantly, every transaction is confirmed directly on the device itself: the app only creates the transaction and sends it to the wallet via Bluetooth.
Open-source wallet architecture
SafePal maintains a public code repository for its wallets, so part of the wallet’s operating logic can be reviewed and verified. SafePal publishes some of the code publicly — you can see how the device logic works and what the wallet does. This adds transparency: issues are easier to spot, discuss, and fix. Private keys never leave the wallet; they are stored by the protected chip, not the app.

Yes, X1 remains a cold hardware wallet. Bluetooth is used only to send an already prepared transaction and return the signature — private keys never leave the protected EAL 6+ chip. The device itself has no access to the internet, Wi-Fi, or NFC. Every transaction requires physical confirmation.
The main difference is the connection method. X1 works via Bluetooth 5.0, while S1 and S1 Pro are fully air-gapped and transfer transactions only via QR codes. X1 is more convenient and faster for everyday use; S1/S1 Pro are fully isolated from radio signals.

У меня были все кошельки сейфпал и S1 и Pro, но в первом камера слабоваткя, а второй кончно лакшери, стекло алюминий, страшно уронить), но он топчик.
Сейчас купил X1 изза неубиваемости самого аппарата, хороший пластик, блютуз-подтверждение – єто очень удобно и похож он на маленький калькулятор, не привлекает внимания окружающих.
Что касается кошелька именно функционала, то это топ, работает со всем, что существует.
