GL.iNet Comet Pro (GL-RM10)

11,590.00 UAH

GL.iNet Comet Pro (GL-RM10) is a compact KVM over IP device for remote computer or server management. It works via Wi-Fi 6 or Ethernet, outputs video in 4K, and can be configured using the touchscreen on the device.
Unlike TeamViewer or AnyDesk, it is available even before the system boots — allowing you to access the BIOS, reinstall Windows or Linux, and recover a PC after a failure.

GL.iNet Comet Pro (GL-RM10)

Powerful processor for stable performance

Comet Pro is equipped with a 4-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, which provides stable and fast device performance during remote access.
4K support and low transmission latency make it comfortable to control the system in real time — you work with the remote PC almost as if you were sitting in front of it.

Touchscreen for quick setup

Comet Pro has a built-in touchscreen with a clear interface. You can connect the device to Wi-Fi, view the IP address, and enable or disable the cloud service directly from Comet Pro, without connecting it to a computer.
Convenient for first setup: take it out of the box, enter the Wi-Fi password on the screen, and the device is already online.

Wi-Fi 6

GL.iNet Comet Pro connects to the network via Wi-Fi 6 in two bands (2.4 and 5 GHz), so the device can be placed where running an Ethernet cable is inconvenient — next to a PC in a far corner of the room, near a home server, or near a node.
It also has an Ethernet port, and both channels work in parallel. If Wi-Fi is unstable, the wired connection remains as a backup, so access to the remote server or computer is not lost.

Built-in storage

The device has 32 GB of built-in eMMC storage and 1 GB of DDR3L RAM. This is enough to store ISO images for system installation, snapshots, and logs directly on Comet Pro.
For those who run their own nodes or validators, this is convenient: recovery and update images are stored on the device itself, and in case of a failure, the system can be brought back up remotely.

Real-time two-way audio

Comet Pro transmits audio in both directions — you can hear what is happening at the remote computer and speak back. The audio channel works through HDMI or USB, so a separate microphone or headset on the device side is not required.
This is useful when helping a colleague or relative remotely, during a call through the connected PC, or when you need to make sure the system has actually booted.

Unrestricted 4K operation

Comet Pro has two HDMI ports: one connects to the computer, and the other connects to the monitor. The image passes through the device without quality loss, so the monitor continues to work even during remote access.
Local use and remote access work in parallel — you do not have to choose one or the other.

Two-factor authentication

Through Comet Pro, you can enter the BIOS and reinstall the system — this is a serious level of computer access, so one password is not enough. The device supports two-factor authentication: in addition to a login and password, you need a one-time code from your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, and similar apps).

App for computer and phone

Comet Pro works through the free GLKVM app — it is available for Windows, macOS, iPhone, and Android. All your Comet devices are visible in one list: you can connect to the one you need in one tap, without entering IP addresses manually.
If you do not want to install the app, access is also available through a regular browser on any computer with an internet connection.

Self-hosted server and full access control

By default, Comet Pro works through the GL.iNet cloud — this is convenient and does not require configuration. If you do not want connection data to pass through a third-party service, the device can be moved to your own Linux or Ubuntu server.

The server requirements are minimal — 2 CPU cores and 2 GB of RAM. Installation takes one click.

According to the manufacturer, users’ personal data is not collected when using the GL.iNet cloud — but a private server remains an option for those who want full control over the entire remote access chain.

FAQ

TeamViewer and AnyDesk work only when the operating system is loaded and the program is running. Comet Pro connects directly to the computer and works at the hardware level — so you can enter the BIOS, reinstall the system, or recover a crashed PC when regular remote access programs are unavailable.

Yes, access through a web browser is supported (browser-based remote access).

Tailscale is supported (convenient secure access through a private network).

Yes, there are two ways. The first is Wake-on-LAN, if the motherboard supports it. The second is additional GL.iNet accessories: an ATX board connects to the power button headers on the motherboard, and Fingerbot is a mechanical “arm” that physically presses the button. Both options are sold separately.

Comet Pro itself is powered via USB Type-C. PoE is available only in a separate model — Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE). If you need to connect the Pro with one cable, GL.iNet has a PoE splitter: it receives power from a PoE switch and delivers it to Comet Pro via USB-C.

Yes, within the local network — access the device by IP address through any browser. The internet is only needed for remote access from outside (through the GL.iNet cloud, Tailscale, or your own server).

The remote computer can run any OS — Windows, macOS, Linux, or FreeBSD. Comet Pro works at the video signal and keyboard/mouse emulation level, so it does not matter what is installed on the remote machine. You can connect to Comet Pro from any device with a browser or through the GLKVM app (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).

It is as safe as you configure it to be. At minimum: a strong password, two-factor authentication (supported out of the box), access through a private Tailscale network instead of an open internet port, and touchscreen lock with a PIN code. Exposing a bare Comet Pro to the public internet with the password “1234” is a bad idea for any device, not only this one.
