Place the first 4 letters of each recovery word on the mnemonic board. Next, place the ELLIPAL Seed Phrase Steel in a safe place to protect it from theft or tampering.
Made from premium stainless steel, ELLIPAL Seed Phrase Steel is fire, water, and impact resistant. It is incredibly durable, withstanding temperatures in excess of 1454°C (2649.2°F), which is much hotter than a house fire.
Compact and safe, ELLIPAL Seed Phrase Steel is designed for ease of use even on the go. You can take it with you anywhere, your recovery phrase will always be protected from external influence.
Each Ellipal Seed Phrase Steel pack contains a base steel block and a set of over three hundred symbols. After you have received a 12 or 24 word recovery phrase (also known as a mnemonic phrase), you need to insert 4 letters of each word into the corresponding slots on the tablet, each slot is numbered to match the word number in your mnemonic phrase.

You can still store your recovery phrase securely in Ellipal. The principle of the recovery phrase is as follows, you only need the first 4 letters of each word in the phrase. For example, if your phrase contains the following words:

You will need to arrange them in this order.

Most hardware wallets have an advanced asset recovery system. For example, Trezor or Ledger.
If you ever need to restore your assets on Trezor, Ledger, or similar devices, you can simply enter the first four characters, and the wallet will pick up the rest of the word automatically.
If you are using software wallets without advanced recovery mode like MetaMask, you can use the BIP39 word library
Yes! The tablet has been designed to support all types of private keys: hexadecimal, alphanumeric, and 12, 18 and 24 mnemonic word phrases.
One of the main disadvantages of paper is its low durability. Ink may burn out, paper may burn or dissolve in water if flooded. Thanks to Ellipal’s high-quality materials, you can rest assured that your keys or mnemonic phrase are completely secure.
If your Ellipal is lost or stolen, IMMEDIATELY move all of your currency to a new address that uses a completely different mnemonic phrase or private key. We also recommend using a passphrase (sometimes called the “25th word”) so that if someone discovers your tablet, there is still some protection.
