Crypto cards in Ukraine: availability, fees and limits
Crypto cards in Ukraine in 2026 let you pay for purchases without first withdrawing funds to a bank card. Whether you can get one depends on where you live and whether you pass identity checks; what you ultimately pay depends on conversion rates and fees. We compare providers that explicitly list Ukraine as a supported country and explain the limits of other cards, including cashback, mobile payments, ATM withdrawals and spending caps.
Before applying, check your country of residence, the documents and address you can use for identity verification (KYC), the specific card programme and its regional fees. A Ukrainian passport, a Ukrainian address and residence in the EU can lead to different outcomes with the same provider.
What changed in 2026
The biggest changes concern the cards themselves: WhiteBIT reissued cards for users with a verified Ukrainian address; Trustee launched a new programme after its old one ended; and Bybit announced cashback changes effective 5 October. RedotPay added Ukraine to the list of countries whose residents cannot get new cards. Find out whether you can apply before comparing reward percentages.
The EU’s MiCA framework sets rules for cryptoassets and crypto service providers. Separately, DAC8 requires relevant providers to collect information on reportable crypto transactions by EU tax residents from 2026; the first reporting for 2026 is due in 2027. A Visa or Mastercard logo does not make payments anonymous. We explain the data-sharing rules in more detail below.
Ukraine also participates in the exchange of information on certain financial accounts under the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). Updated CRS 2.0 rules have applied since July 2026 to institutions subject to those reporting requirements. That does not mean the tax authority sees every card purchase as it happens. The information that may be shared depends on the institution, the type of account and your tax residence.
How we compare crypto cards
Crypto cards you can apply for in Ukraine
WhiteBIT Nóva: everyday spending and Apple Pay
Ukraine appears on WhiteBIT Nóva’s list of supported countries. Issuing a virtual card is free; you order a physical card separately and pay for delivery. The Visa card is issued by Estonia’s Wallester AS. Applicants need the appropriate level of WhiteBIT identity verification, and users with a verified Ukrainian address went through a card reissue in 2026. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported; you need a physical card for ordinary ATM withdrawals.
Spending Power shows how much you can spend after selected assets are converted. You can set the order in which assets such as WBT, BTC and USDC are used, then see the amount in euros; not every asset in your overall balance can be spent directly with the card. The final cost depends on the conversion rate and the purchase currency. In GNcrypto’s December 2025 test, 12 purchases totalling €487 and a €100 cash withdrawal over 14 days produced a measured spread of 0.89–0.98%. KYC took 2 hours and 15 minutes in that test. Those are observed results, not a promised rate or approval time for every user.
WhiteBIT advertises up to 10% cashback in BTC or WBT for selected categories. You can select three active categories, but a merchant must have an eligible MCC code. According to the WhiteBIT help centre, monthly cashback is capped at €25. The card page and help centre give different figures for how often categories can be changed and the minimum payout, so check both settings in the app. In GNcrypto’s test, the 12 purchases mentioned above earned €2.42. The advertised “up to 10%” does not apply to every purchase.
Under the published fee schedule, there is no monthly fee, but transaction fees of up to 1% may apply. Cash withdrawals cost €3 in the European Economic Area (EEA: the EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and €3 + 2.2% elsewhere; the ATM operator may add its own charge. The daily spending limit is €10,000 and the monthly limit is €25,000. For the physical card, cash withdrawals are limited to €1,000 a day and €3,000 a month. These figures are more useful than assuming the spread will always be below 1%.
Bybit Card: rewards depend on the regional programme
Bybit Card’s rewards may be attractive, but having a Bybit account does not mean you can get a card with a Ukrainian address. The application first asks for your country of residence. If that country is unsupported, Bybit merely records your interest in a future launch. If the card is available to you, the rewards tiers show 2% for Base and up to 10% at higher tiers. Base rewards are capped at 5 USDT per month; the 50 USDT cap applies to Beta, which has additional eligibility requirements. Not every purchase earns points, and the rules vary by card-issuing region.
According to Bybit’s fee schedule, converting crypto for card payments can cost 0.9% on top of the sell rate. The Kazakhstan (AIFC) card also carries a 2% international transaction fee for purchases outside Kazakhstan, even if they are made in US dollars. So “2% cashback minus 0.9% conversion = guaranteed savings” does not hold for a purchase in Ukraine. You can find your card’s daily limit in its dashboard. There is currently no issuance fee for a virtual Bybit Card; the cost of a physical card depends on the regional programme.
Bybit offers 100% cashback on certain subscriptions, including ChatGPT Plus, Spotify and Netflix, subject to programme rules and your available monthly cap. From 5 October 2026, the rules will change: eligible purchases must be funded with crypto to earn cashback, and Beta users who are not VIPs will lose the 100% subscription benefit. Selling USDT for fiat through P2P first can avoid a separate conversion at checkout, but that payment route will not qualify for cashback under the new rules. Apple Pay and Google Pay support also varies: Bybit’s current FAQ lists both for AIFC but only Google Pay for Asia Pacific. Check the terms of your own card.
Simple: the virtual USDC Simplecard
Ukraine appears on the Simplecard supported-country list. You can apply for the virtual USDC card after KYC and proof-of-address checks; a physical card is still described as a future offering in Simple’s instructions. The card supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. Its funding guide lists USDT and USDC on different networks, including Tron for USDT and Base for USDC. Check the network before sending: the supported networks differ between the two stablecoins.
Simple’s help centre lists a monthly purchase limit of 30,000 USDC and cash withdrawal limits of 500 USDC per day and 5,000 USDC per month. Yet only a virtual card can currently be ordered; published withdrawal limits alone do not establish that you can withdraw cash from an ATM. Simple says issuance is free. It has also announced 5% annual yield on a USDC card balance, but we could not find public terms for how it is earned. Do not treat it as guaranteed income: check the rate, source of yield, restrictions and withdrawal options in the app first. Even without a separate fee, the exchange rate affects the cost of a purchase.
Trustee Plus: a new USDC card and registration limits
Trustee Plus suspended new registrations in Ukraine on 22 May 2025, according to the company. Separately, Ukraine’s central bank prohibited Trustee Global UAB from providing specific payment services in Ukraine through the app’s P2P feature and euro transfers. The decision concerns those services; it is not a blanket ban on all Trustee cards or crypto transactions. If you already use the service in the EU, check which card programme is available in your account. New applicants with a Ukrainian address should not assume approval.
The old Quicko Digital cards stopped working in early February 2026. Do not confuse them with the updated USDC card Trustee launched in beta. The new card has a separate balance and supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, but cash withdrawals and PIN transactions are not yet available. The image above shows the previous programme’s card design; it does not confirm a physical version of the new USDC card. Under the published fees, issuing the new card costs $10, USDC funding costs 0.5%, and merchant payments have a 0% stated fee. Also check the USD/UAH rate for hryvnia purchases. See your app for balance and spending limits.
Cards with restrictions for Ukrainian residents
RedotPay: no new cards for Ukrainian residents
RedotPay is currently unavailable to residents of Ukraine: its card issuance restrictions list Ukraine for both virtual and physical cards. The following fees may be useful if you lawfully live in a supported country or already hold an eligible card. The provider’s help centre lists a $10 virtual card and a $100 physical card that can be used for cash withdrawals. When spending stablecoins, consider the full cost: RedotPay lists 1% for crypto conversion, 1.2% for a transaction in another currency and 2% for cash withdrawals within the USD card’s threshold. The ATM may charge extra.
If an eligible USD cardholder withdraws the equivalent of $200 in another currency and all three rates apply—1% + 1.2% + 2%—the fees total $8.40, or 4.2%. This excludes the payment network’s exchange rate, any ATM operator charge and the higher withdrawal rate above the monthly threshold. RedotPay Pro costs $12.90 a month or $129 a year. It offers 3% cashback on eligible Apple Pay or Google Pay purchases, capped at 18 USDs per month. USDs can be spent on later card purchases but cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred, and rewards expire after 30 days. Check the spending limits in your account.
Wirex Card: an account does not guarantee a card
Wirex Card may appeal to Ukrainians living in a supported European country who want to pay by card or withdraw cash. Cryptoback rates depend on the Standard, Premium or Elite plan and the WXT tier; they can reach 8%. Premium and Elite cost €9.99 and €29.99 a month, respectively. But platform availability does not guarantee card availability: Wirex’s country table shows an account and some features for Ukraine, while the Card column says N/A. Do not assume that Wirex Card terms apply to a Trustee card simply because the providers use shared infrastructure.
Binance Card: the European programme has ended
The former Binance Card programme for the EEA closed in 2023. The EEA includes countries beyond the EU, so calling it simply an “EU card” would be inaccurate. Binance launched a separate card for Brazilian residents in 2025; it did not restore the European or Ukrainian programme. Changes to Binance’s fiat channels are a separate issue: the end of Bifinity’s services affected certain deposit and withdrawal methods, and Fiat Trade UAH closed in September 2026. That does not mean every way to sell crypto for hryvnia has disappeared. See our guide to withdrawing crypto to a bank card for available routes.
If you live in Europe
If you have moved abroad, consider your actual country of residence, KYC address and tax residence, as well as your citizenship. The products below may be available in particular countries. A Ukrainian passport alone does not make you eligible for an EEA card programme.
CL Card for Ledger users
Ledger’s CL Card is provided by Baanx and can be funded through Ledger Wallet. Ledger lists a free virtual card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and 1% cashback in a cryptocurrency available in your region. The programme is advertised for the EEA, the UK, the US, Canada, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, but not Ukraine. Supported funding assets include BTC, ETH, SOL and selected stablecoins.
Once you transfer assets to a card account, you no longer control them in the same way as funds at an address held in your own hardware wallet. Funding the card changes how your assets are held. Check Baanx fees for your country and funding method; a single purchase fee that applies in every country has not been established here.
Nexo Card
Nexo offers two modes. Debit Mode uses your assets for purchases, while Credit Mode lets you borrow against crypto collateral without immediately selling it. Nexo advertises up to 2% cashback on eligible purchases in Credit Mode, Apple Pay, and up to €2,000 of fee-free ATM withdrawals a month at a high loyalty tier. Credit line interest may start at 1.9% annually, depending on your tier and terms; yield on your balance is not a card payment reward. Check your app to see whether you can order a physical card. Before using Credit Mode, assess borrowing costs and the risk that your collateral falls in value.
Gate Card
Gate runs several card programmes, so the Visa design in the image should not be taken as a depiction of the Mastercard Midnight offering. The Gate Card page for the EEA describes a virtual Mastercard Midnight, Apple Pay, Google Pay and mandatory KYC. Separate Classic and Platinum fee schedules list 0.9% for crypto conversion and 0.4% for non-USD payments, but those rates cannot be assumed for Midnight or Signature. Gate’s updated points programme offers up to 8% on eligible purchases at certain tiers. Check Midnight’s actual terms and eligibility for your country when applying.
Tria
Tria may suit people planning large purchases who are willing to examine the annual cost of their tier. Under its cashback terms effective from June 2026, the virtual card pays 1.5% on the first $100 of eligible monthly spending, Signature pays 4.5% on the first $1,000, and Premium pays 6% on the first $2,000. Above those thresholds, rates drop to 0.5% or 1%, depending on the tier. A large single purchase therefore does not earn 6% on its full value. Cashback is paid in supported stablecoins under the programme rules; a possible airdrop is not guaranteed to cover the card’s cost.
Tria charges for the card before KYC is complete, according to its application guide. Your document, country of residence and address must meet the programme’s requirements. Physical cards ship in batches, and delivery depends on the destination. Before paying for membership, ask whether your document and address qualify and what the refund terms are. For a $5,000 or $10,000 purchase, check the per-transaction limit. Even if an eligible $17,800 purchase goes through with the Premium monthly threshold unused, cashback is not 6% of the entire amount: $120 on the first $2,000 plus $158 on the remaining $15,800, for a total of $278.
Card comparison by use case
The table reflects public information checked on 30 September 2026. A service being available in Ukraine does not necessarily mean its card can be issued there. For ATM costs, consider two different examples: a physical WhiteBIT Nóva card charges €3 per withdrawal in the EEA, whereas the RedotPay example totals $8.40 in fees on the equivalent of $200 when conversion and a withdrawal in another currency apply. These examples use different currencies and conditions and exclude any ATM operator fee. Confirm the current fees and your eligibility before applying.
Which card fits your situation?
For everyday purchases in Ukraine, start by comparing WhiteBIT Nóva and Simplecard: both providers explicitly list Ukraine among their supported card countries. WhiteBIT offers a physical version and published limits; Simplecard currently offers a virtual USDC card. Compare Bybit only if its app confirms that you can apply from your country of residence. An advertised cashback rate alone will not tell you what you save.
For travel and cash, WhiteBIT publishes ATM fees for its physical Nóva card. If you live in a supported country, compare them with RedotPay’s total conversion and withdrawal costs. RedotPay does not issue virtual or physical cards to Ukrainian residents. The new Trustee USDC card does not yet support cash withdrawals.
For Ukrainians who have moved to Europe, Wirex, Nexo, Gate, CL Card and Tria may broaden the options, but eligibility depends on your actual country of residence and documents. Nexo has debit and credit modes, CL Card connects to the Ledger ecosystem, and Tria’s tier cost and post-payment KYC are especially important. Before a large purchase, check the per-transaction limit and monthly cashback thresholds.
What to check before applying
Can tax authorities receive information about card activity?
Tax authorities do not get an alert for every purchase at checkout. But providers verify identity, and information about certain financial accounts may be exchanged between countries under CRS. In Ukraine, updated CRS 2.0 rules have applied to reporting institutions since July 2026. In the EU, DAC8 separately covers reportable crypto transactions of EU residents from 2026; the first exchange of that information is expected in 2027.
Reports can include personal information, tax residence, an account number and balance, or details of particular transactions. What is reported depends on the institution and the country’s rules. A Ukrainian passport, the address used to apply for a card and tax residence are different things. If you live abroad or have a foreign account, check the obligations that apply to you there. Do not provide a false address for KYC; it can trigger further checks or restrictions on your account.
The takeaway
If you live in Ukraine and want to spend crypto, start with WhiteBIT Nóva and Simplecard: both list Ukraine as a supported country, though their card formats, exchange rates and limits differ. Consider Bybit Card only after confirming eligibility for your address. Trustee Plus has suspended new registrations in Ukraine. RedotPay does not issue cards to Ukrainian residents, and Wirex marks its card N/A for Ukraine. If you have moved, check programmes against your new country of residence and KYC requirements.
Cards are convenient for spending, but do not keep your entire crypto portfolio on a card balance. For long-term storage, compare an exchange with a hardware wallet. If you mainly hold USDT, see our guide to choosing a network and wallet for the stablecoin. Check fees and eligibility in the app before applying; card programmes can change faster than reviews are updated.
Frequently asked questions
Which crypto card can I get in Ukraine?
WhiteBIT Nóva and the virtual USDC Simplecard both list Ukraine for applicants with a Ukrainian address. That does not guarantee approval: your document and proof of address must qualify, and you still need to pass the provider’s checks. Do not assume Bybit Card is available simply because you have an exchange account; check your country of residence in the card application first.
Does Bybit offer 100% cashback on subscriptions?
Only for selected subscriptions and eligible programme tiers, within the monthly cap. From 5 October 2026, Beta users without VIP status will lose this benefit. Do not confuse the Base tier with Beta.
Is RedotPay available in Ukraine?
No. RedotPay’s current card issuance restrictions list Ukraine among the countries whose residents cannot obtain virtual or physical cards. If you live elsewhere, check eligibility under that country’s rules.
Can I get a Wirex Card with a Ukrainian address?
Wirex’s official country table shows that an account is available for Ukraine, but the Card column says N/A. If you live in another country, check its row separately, along with Cryptoback terms for your plan.
Can tax authorities obtain information about my card?
Yes. Certain information about reportable accounts and crypto transactions may be shared under CRS and DAC8, depending on the institution, country and your tax residence. This is not a real-time feed of every card purchase to the tax authority.
