Usage example<\/h4>\n

Pay attention to the photo. The first example shows a random ASCII password, 55 characters long. The capsule allows you to save two or more passwords with a total length of up to 123 characters.<\/p>\n

The second example shows an unabbreviated mnemonic seed phrase consisting of 12 words. The remaining space on top can store additional data such as passwords, phrases, or random ASCII strings.<\/p>\n

The third example demonstrates a 25 word seed phrase. Shamir Backup support<\/h4>\n

The secret phrase cryptographic scheme created by Adi Shamir is an original way to protect data.<\/p>\n

Shamir’s scheme provides a more reliable mechanism for backing up a mnemonic phrase by distributing control over multiple trusted parties, which prevents data from being compromised even if one or more parts of the copy are lost. The scheme allows you to split your recovery phrase backup into several independent parts called “shares”.<\/p>\n

When creating a new wallet using Shamir’s backup scheme, instead of creating a single seed phrase, it generates shares, the number of which is set by the user and each of which is 20 words long. The user then sets a threshold (the number of shares needed to restore the wallet).
